Hi, I’m Celi and this is Relax the Belly

There’s a phrase that shifted something in me. A teacher said it almost in passing, in the middle of a class:

“Just relax the belly.”

At first it sounded simple. Almost meaningless. But it stayed with me. Over time, I began to understand it wasn’t just a physical cue, it was an invitation to let go. To stop holding what didn’t need to be held. To let the breath in. To let life in.

That’s where this space began.

My name is Celi. I’m from Uruguay, I live in Amsterdam, and I’m a certified coach and counsellor. But coach counsellorbefore any of that, I was someone who lived by should, doing what looked responsible, what made sense on paper, what I thought I was supposed to want.

I had a job, stability, all the boxes ticked.

And still, something didn’t fit. A quiet disconnection that kept growing until I couldn’t ignore it anymore.

Yoga was what began to bring me back to myself. Not as a physical practice, but as a question: what happens when you give your body space? What happens when you stop bracing?

From there came years of training — a two-year certification in coaching and counselling, 200 hours of yoga, hours of personal practice, and real work with real people navigating some of the most disorienting moments of their lives.

Relax the Belly is the space I would have needed.

It’s for women who, from the outside, seem to have it together, but on the inside feel like something doesn’t fit. Who keep circling the same decision. Who know what they want but can’t quite act from that knowing.

This isn’t therapy. It isn’t quick motivation. It’s a space to slow down, look more honestly, and learn to make decisions from what you already know, not from fear, or from what you think you’re supposed to want.

I work online, in English and Spanish, through individual sessions and women’s circles.

If something here resonates, I’m glad you’re here.
